Had a great turnout this weekend at the art festival in Easton. I want to send out a thank you to all my family and friends who came out to visit, help set up, and take down. You are awesome!
I was lucky enough to be near some of my new artist friends including Ana Hamilton, Yevette Hendler, and Michelle Neifert who has been especially helpful these past few months in providing encouragement and advice on navigating these waters. My neighbor for the show was Rich Metzger, a really talented wildlife carver. We both had a great view of the two rivers:
Overall I was very happy with the reception of my paintings. As an artist who hasn’t shown in a very long time it can be a bit daunting putting yourself back out there – you just never know how people will respond. But as it turns out its been very positive… Even to the extent that I was able to sell a few pieces this weekend!
