This summer, I had the pleasure of participating in a small group show, Textured Perspectives, held at Pink Arrow Arts in Montrose, PA. The exhibit, curated by gallery director Melanie Urdang, opened with a reception on June 1st from 4-6 PM. It was a fantastic evening, surrounded by fellow artists, art enthusiasts, and the creative energy that filled the gallery.
The show featured the innovative works of my fellow artists, Samuelle Green and Chris Collins, alongside my own paintings. Samuelle’s multidisciplinary approach emphasized the interaction between human-made and natural forms, while Chris’s stunning sculptures, rooted in his metal-casting expertise, drew admiration from all who attended. My contributions explored the evolution of typography, texture, and industrial elements, concepts I’ve long been passionate about.
The gallery, nestled in the heart of Montrose, PA, provided the perfect backdrop for the exhibit, which remained open for the month of June. Pink Arrow Arts, a non-profit organization founded in 2018, has been instrumental in making art accessible to the local community, especially for the young, elderly, and underserved. I’m proud to have been a part of their mission.
